‘Good Men Looking Forward’
Do you want to be more connected to your culture?
Through a 4 week block of Yarning circles, Cultural Workshops and On Country Camp, Dooga Waalitj Healing will support you with an opportunity to connect to country, engage in cultural activities, and traditional customs connected to Nyungar culture so that you can keep your spirits strong and thriving.

Target Group

Young Maaman aged between 11- 18 and their adult Maaman /male caregiver or significant kin relative living on Wadjuk Nyungar Boodja.

Young Maaman who are identified as being at high risk of engaging in poor relationship patterns identified as:

Young people who are currently living in or have lived in a household where relationships were characterized by violence

Care leavers and young people preparing to leave care

Families seeking out service through word of mouth or through referral pathways such as counselling.

Examples would include dads/sons, carers, uncles, pops, older brothers.

Begin your journey with a powerful Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony, honouring the spirit of Wadjuk and/or Ballardong Country and inviting respectful engagement with land and culture.

Our bespoke Immersions for schools, organisations, and community groups are tailored to support reconciliation and cultural learning, offering insight into the significance of Nyungar Country, history, and protocols.
